MORA MORAVIA, a.s.

The company followed the history and companies Hlubočeská and Marientálská joint-stock company for industry and trade in iron goods "Moravia" in Olomouc, which was founded in 1870. On the plots of the former ironworks Josef Zvěřina Ignaz Carl Machanek gradually built a successful company that exported iron and sheet metal goods not only to European but also overseas countries. The company focused mainly on the production of nails, as well as hardware, fittings, hinges, locks and stoves.   In 1994, the state-owned company was privatized and the joint-stock company MORA MORAVIA, as was established. Since 2005, it has been a part of the Gorenje Group. At present, the company is a successful Czech manufacturer of kitchen appliances.
