Karel Stráník (1899–1978)

An architect who worked for the famous Swiss architect Le Corbusier in his Paris design office in the 1920s. Stráník was significantly influenced by his work. He designed mostly villas and residential houses. One of the most famous buildings is the villa in Černošice from 1929. Another trace of Corbusier's influence can be found in the summer house in Sázava.
